Games – The best of home entertainment

Games have been turning rather a phenomenon in this decade. Kids are more drawn to it as are adults. The reason that adults find it more alluring is because it is one of the best forms of recreation and a form of relaxation. Games are made from Movies and vice-versa. There are a variety of similarities between games and movies.

Sometimes games are adapted from movies and at other times, movies are adapted from games owing to the popularity of the game. Even the popularity of movies makes the game manifest the movie in other forms such as T-shirts, apparels, toys, games etc. The success is very much dependent as well as independent of the earlier form it takes.

Both Games and Movies have a storyline, the objective of the lead character etc. Games differ from movies in a way where you help the character achieve the end by controlling the character from beginning till end. This is not possible in a movie where the character takes the course as dictated in or by the screenplay.

Games find increasing acceptance from adults as well precisely for the reason that they find greater entertainment with things being in their control. Sometimes, the interesting story lines or plot is what that has inspired many of the films to be made from games. Games these days are of different genres and each game is vastly different from the other.

Games come in various genres and some of them are adventurous, thrilling, suspenseful, action oriented and funny games. PlayStation games have risen to be one of the best medium of gaming. It seems that PlayStation has actually subdued computer gaming due to the real virtual effects they offer along with the advancements in special effects.

Earlier children were used to playing the 8-bit cartridge video games which adults found lesser interests in but now computer games and PlayStations increasingly attract the adults towards them. Next in line to television, which appeals to the mass of families and individuals alike, video games appeal to the gaming cult population. Those who take to gaming very often are so crazy about video games.

Those who play video games are shrewd thinkers with adequate presence of mind, healthy attitudes, hand-eye-mind coordination, increased reflexes, agility in response and above all the best of fun and entertainment! Hence, video games qualify to be the best of home entertainment though it is played more by youngsters, kids and adult men. It is, of course, one of the best forms of home entertainment and one cannot deny the fact that even women find video games highly entertaining!.
